INTERIOR DESIGN
ANKO Beauty Shop is an on-campus beauty shop run by Sungshin Women’s University. The space was designed to reflect the daily lives of the female colleg e students and their playful sense of youth. Combining the painted white surface and the flat drawing, the store space presents a mixture of the flat and the three-dimensional. The female college students who visit the beauty shop to receive hair and other beauty treatment become immersed in a doll-house-like environment, which evokes a familiar childhood sensibility.
